Gabriel MVOGO SAINT Invited to Participate in the B20 USA 2026 Meeting in Washington

A high-level invitation that opens up new opportunities for trade between Florida and Africa, ahead of the G20 summit to be held under the U.S. presidency.

Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, president of the Florida Africa Chamber of Commerce, has been invited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to participate in the B20 USA 2026, scheduled for November 9–11 in Washington, D.C.

This invitation is part of a major series of international economic dialogues. As the primary forum for dialogue between the private sector and the G20, the B20 brings together business leaders and economic decision-makers to formulate recommendations on global trade, investment, competitiveness, and growth. Organized under the U.S. G20 presidency, this edition serves as a strategic platform for developing business relationships and contributing to discussions on major international economic policies.

For the Florida Africa Chamber of Commerce, this participation represents an opportunity to promote cooperation between Florida-based and African companies. Thanks to its logistics infrastructure and international reach, Florida can serve as a gateway to the U.S. market for African companies. At the same time, African markets offer development prospects in sectors such as agribusiness, logistics, technology, infrastructure, and services.

While the B20 remains a forum for private-sector dialogue and does not replace the G20’s intergovernmental negotiations, it serves as a platform for economic influence where business needs, investor perspectives, and public policy directions converge.

Mr. Gabriel Saint believes that this international event represents an opportunity to promote a vision of transatlantic trade that goes beyond traditional exchanges between the United States and Africa. It also calls for exploring more structured mechanisms for cooperation among businesses, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, and public actors on both sides of the Atlantic.

Through this initiative, the Florida Africa Chamber of Commerce aims to facilitate business matchmaking, encourage bilateral trade missions, and support the emergence of investment partnerships. The challenge is to transform the opportunities identified at this summit into concrete projects that create value and jobs, while sustainably strengthening economic exchanges between the two regions.

The challenge, therefore, is to make international economic dialogue an operational tool that serves businesses. It is not merely a matter of promoting trade, but of helping to create the conditions that will enable Florida-based companies to access new African markets and allow African companies to better showcase their products, services, and investment capabilities in the U.S. market.
